In 1956, Gordon Edwards took a leap of faith and gambled his savings on a little Mobil Service Station in Yucaipa, Ca. "Gordy's Super Service" began to building the foundation to what has become a town icon. A short while after opening it's doors, "Gordy's Mobil Service" is the name that stuck, and little did Gordon know that he began a multi-generation Family Business.

In 1971, Calvin Edwards purchased Gordy's Mobil Service from his father and began "Cal's Auto Repair". Locals trusted Cal to deliver honest and reliable auto repair with the customer's best interest in mind. As years passed, Cal's no longer sold fuel, and focused on Auto Repair.

In 1988, Calvin's oldest son came to Cal and his wife Toni with and idea that would once again change the course of this little shop. Taking a chance on Gary's suggestion, Calvin and Toni signed a contract with AAA and bought a couple tow trucks. Working side by side, they became Yucaipa Valley's go-to company for towing and roadside service.

In 1993, Gary Edwards purchased Cal's Auto Repair and Towing from his Father Calvin, and continued to operate with the same reliability that his father and grand-father had become known for. With integrity and humility, Gary had a gift of treating his family, friends, employees, and customers with grace and wisdom. For 33 years, Cal's Auto Repair and Towing was the preferred Contract Station for AAA throughout the Yucaipa Valley.

In 2021, Cal's lost a Hero, Mentor, and Friend. Gary unexpectedly passed away in October of 2021, and Cal's will never be the same without his humor, wisdom and grace. Gary will forever live on in our hearts and our memories.

Moving forward, Gary's two son's, Brett and Jeremy Edwards have made it possible for Cal's to move forward with the same integrity and grace that this town has come to expect.

Back in 2015, convinced by his brother Andrew that "Gary was an awesome guy to work for", Noah Mayo began working at Cal's Auto Repair and Towing! It wasn't long before Gary saw a drive and passion in Noah that led Gary to ask Noah to manage Cal's for him. For the next 5 years, Gary poured his wisdom, and knowledge into Noah and pushed Noah into being the best leader he could be. That mentorship and dedication given to Noah by Gary has given Noah the tools needed to carry on his family's legacy.

With Gratitude and Humility, Noah and the Cal's Transport & Towing family strive to carry on with faith and dedication to the solid foundation that the Edward's family has laid out. Cal's Transport & Towing is blessed to serve Yucaipa and its surrounding cities.
